In October 2022, we partnered with the 1komma7 grill & bar, Kinderhilfe SKekirawa, Sri Lanka. Facilitated by the German organization "Kinderhilfe Sri Lanka e.V.", our community built a school building for 50 additional children every year.
This evening raised over CHF 8000.00 and enabled us to start the construction in Kekirawa, Sri Lanka.
In May 2023 the construction of the new building was complete. Our president, Marco Wijeratne, had the chance to attend the opening ceremony. 50 additional children can now additionally attend this Kindergarten on a yearly basis.
Not only us but also the local community values education. So much, so that even the parents of the children attending the Kindergarten stepped in and supported the development of their new building.
